This page explains what we keep when you use adeka.lk, and what other people can and cannot see. We try to keep it short and in plain language.
What we keep
When you sign in we keep your email address. When you fill in your profile or post an ad we keep your name and phone number. Your ads keep the details, photos, price, and the town you pick. We also note simple activity, like when a buyer asks to see your number.
How we use it
We use your information to show your ads to buyers, let people contact you, sign you in, send the emails you ask for, and keep the marketplace safe and free of scams.
What other people can see
Once an ad is approved, your ad, the town you chose, and your name are public. Your phone number stays hidden until a buyer taps Show number. Your email address is never shown to other people, and your exact map spot is never shared — buyers only ever see an approximate area.
Messages and emails
Messages you send to other members are delivered to them and saved so the chat keeps working. We email you a sign-in link when you sign in, and a note when you get a new message. You can turn message emails off any time on your profile.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small amount of privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to see which pages are popular. We do not sell your information and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Your choices
You can edit or remove your ads any time, and update your details on your profile. To delete your account and ads, just email us. adeka.lk is meant for adults — please do not use it if you are under 18.
